Hello, I’m Emma Maree Urquhart, a writer and desktop engineer from the windswept Scottish Highlands. I work full-time in IT as a remote desktop support engineer. Almost all of my free time is spent writing, with the occasional break for reading, drawing, or watching the TV. Every time I read a book, I try to review it in this cosy, cyan-coloured corner of the Internet.

The Urquhart clan motto is “Mean Well, Speak Well and Do Well”. These are rules I try to live by.

I published my first book, the children’s fantasy novel “Dragon Tamers: Reality Goes Virtual” aged 13, followed by the sequel “Dragon Tamers 2: Digital Tempest”. Thanks to fan support and some utterly exhausting, relentless touring, it sold extremely well and published by well-known publishing houses across Europe (more details here).

I’m represented by literary agent Genevieve Carden of the CardenWright Literary Agency, who can be contacted on gen@cardenwright.com
